Warning! Tattoos are very habit forming
Congratulations, you have just received a work of art from Happily Ever Tattoos. We use the latest techniques and best equipment available.
The last step of our job is putting on the bandage. The rest of the responsibility is yours, and is just as important as anything we've done. Please follow the instructions carefully.
Leave bandage on for at least 12 hours, and up to 24 hours. DO NOT LOOSEN to peak or to show it off. You have the rest of your life to do that.
After removal of the bandage, wash tattooed area with clean wash cloth, a mild soap, and warm water. Be sure to get any ointment and dried blood off. It will sting a little, but it is very important to get all of this off. Blot dry, do not wipe. Gently wash your tattoo 2 - 3 times a day - more if it's in a spot that attracts dirt, such as your ankle or foot.
With CLEAN HANDS, apply THIN layer of 'Tattoo Goo' or Tat Wax over tattoo. Let this sit for 10 - 15 minutes. Use paper towel to blot off excess ointment. If your tattoo is slippery there is too much ointment on it. Blot it off.
If tattoo feels crusty apply more. 4 or 5 times a day should be plenty. If you have any unusual reactions to 'Tattoo Goo' or Tat Wax, such as puffy eyes, swollen throat, toes or fingers, discontinue use and contact a physician.
DO NOT SHARE TATTOO OINTMENTS - make sure your hands are clean when you use the ointments or touch your tattoo.
DO NOT soak tattoo in water, stay out of chlorine pools and hot tubs for 3 weeks. Any sign of infection contact a physician and get on antibiotics.
If scab does form DO NOT pick it. If it itches DO NOT scratch it.
Keep your tattoo out of direct sunlight of 6 weeks. After that, use the highest number SUNBLOCK available. Sun will fade the color and turn black to green.
We guarantee all of our work if you follow these instructions. If you experience any problems or have questions please call us at 651-674-0320. Then come get your next tattoo!
